I’m sure there’s nothing else on here about needing a left back. !

Am I the only person that thinks we need a left back ASAP? What happens, if Mitchell gets injured? Who do we have to play in that position. Our only option is Schlupp? I have seen him fill-in in that position before, but his footballing DNA is all about attack rather than defence, and I can see big issues.

Right back is also an issue, but at least we have (some) cover there with Clyne and Ferguson.

Jairo has filled in there and won POTM when he did. Ferguson can also play LB and did so briefly in his Sub appearance for the 1st team against Spurs when Mitchell came off with a slight injury, his first PL outing since his move to Palace.

I wasn't expecting much this window and it appears we will not be signing anyone apart from Mateta.

Still imagine being an Arsenal or Spurs fan you get linked with every major star going and yet again they have failed miserably in the transfer window with their key targets.

They are supposed to be big clubs with deep pockets LOL.

I bet their fans are pulling their hair out because this happens most windows.

Listen guys, we refused to agree terms with Oumar Niasse on deadline day and good thing too. Point is we're not pushovers and we tend to keep it quiet and try and be smart. There have been exceptions like with Meyer where we got sold out for inflated wages but there aren't too many.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

We have a business plan and as someone pointed out those in charge have no intention of having their proverbial pants pulled down in January!

I am not unhappy about not having anyone this transfer window. DvB turned us down but at £150k pw Everton can have him. Interesting Lampard didn't sign his contract until after he had bullied the board to get him signed. A little test of the board's commitment methinks!! As for Ramsay at a reported £200k pw he can play for High Wycombe for all I care!
Palace will finish in the top 14. By then we'll know just how good Olise, Eze, Mateta and Eduard are, whether Jimmy Mac has another year in him and exactly where O'Connor will be (many a slip!!). The summer window is important and if it anything like last summers'.....

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

7 weeks of VDB salary pays for Plange - better business for us.

Dele Alli, Berkeley and Aaron Ramsey - no thanks to any of those.

Mateta loan converted - much better than starting Benteke.

Keeping Jesurun RS rather than loaning him out - good move.

In your opinion.

Agree with everything else.

You know you don't have to comment/reply on every single post I make, hey? We're all aware of your disdain for Benteke and hard on for Mateta.

I find it curious that Ramsey has gone to Rangers. It can't be for the money as I doubt Rangers could match what we offered or did we even offer?

It makes you wonder if we were ever serious about taking him or if it was just his agent.

Mateta deal is done y the way.
