None of those prove his point whatsoever.

But yes it's about filtered and failed as imagining that a bunch of whites (only) walking in the peak distinct is some kind of pure, beautiful experience, rather than a day out for the mentally fragile. That's as fantasy over reality as any of it in terms of idealised concepts.
Mmmm...that scenario certainly seems to be your take on it anyway. However, I regard the term 'mentally fragile' as hardly accurate when they risk what they risk.

Your party seems to think so....and I think that the intelligent ones know that it's a lie.....but they are happy to propagate it because of the current culture. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Nov 2021 5.59pm)

None of those prove his point whatsoever. It’s a given that the best applicant should get the job so why are bonuses tied to diversity targets?

I’m not a fan of targets but there’s tonnes of studies that prove that people have unconscious bias towards people just like them (and this isn’t just a race thing). This whole thing is because the ‘best’ applicants weren’t getting the job all the time - we live in a world historically dominated by white men who then hire and over promote other white men, whether consciously or unconsciously. Industries are dominated by people who have been given a leg up one way or another. All you need to do is take a look at current Prime Minister and government to see that the best people don’t always get the jobs.

What a reminder. Being white equals being ignorant and oppressive. Got it. Glad I prefer Pepsi. Pepsi Max. ‘Coca-Cola has come under fire from conservative critics, who have accused the drinks brand of reverse racism, after it used a training video that encouraged staff to “try to be less white”. The content of a training session was leaked by a Coca-Cola employee who sent pictures of slides asking white people to be “less ignorant,” and “less oppressive”.’

So if two candidates are of equal ability who’s more likely to get the job if the interviewers bonus depends on the outcome?

Politics isn’t really the real world Dan and how many ethnic minorities are there in the shadow cabinet compared to the Tory front benches? I can’t remember if Diane Abbott still is, but you can’t name her as a credible name. I think a lot of white men are seeing the office world as a place not worth the hassle and not that rewarding anyway. There are other options if you’re young enough without some irritating idiot on whichever crusade or with whatever bitter opinion annoying them 5 days a week, 47-48 weeks a year. A lot of office workers will one day realise the jobs they’re in are even more worthless than they were and that little power they had is just laughable to people free from that rule and discipline threatening nonsense.

Out of curiosity can you give an example of why a minority might not be suitable for a position in a company? I mean there may be legitimate reasons, but I'm struggling to think of say, why someone wouldn't be suitable for a position due to their race.. Edited by BlueJay (10 Nov 2021 8.21pm)

If you have some evidence that it’s a fact, like you claim, then you don’t need to worry about posting anything as if it’s factually correct and evidenced then there can’t be anything to worry about legally. Just admit you’ve made a statement you can’t back up, climb down, and stop making yourself look a tit. Edited by DanH (10 Nov 2021 8.28pm)
