I don’t have a problem with any of the ones we let go - even Andros. We’ve managed to add some real quality and all have so much scope to develop and improve further - most I thought were slightly beyond our reach! The fact that many have previously played at U21’s or with other members of the squad should help them settle quickly. Okay we could do with another winger to replace Andros and I was hoping Lookman or Nelson would come in to add some competition for Olise . But I have a feeling we may well see JRS’s development continue at rapid pace in the U23’s and he might not find it as hard as some think to step up. He’s certainly as exciting a prospect as some we were linked with (Boga) imo. Extending Clyne is also a plus so all in all a really good window 8/10 from me.

Given some thought to this one. On balance a little worse off imo. We will miss Andros especially, Cahill PVA Bats they are all experienced PL. Our incomings a bit confusing as to what roles they will take, like others I think a lack of a right winger, fullback cover, a central midfielder Just a bit light-weight compared to what we had, but lets see if PV can unscramble the confusion. COYP So, you don’t think it’s a good plan to let old players leave and replace with exciting youngsters. We don’t need wingers in a 433 system, how many fullbacks do you need, with others who can fill in there, Gallagher and Hughes are central midfielders. Don’t think you thought it through! Luckily your not involved with recruitment.

Well the management obviously thought that we needed another full back otherwise they wouldn't have made a late bid for a PSG left back who ultimately didn't want to leave them. I think rebuilding this side was never a one-window job. January will be part 2 and next summer may be part 3. Thus far, it's hard not to give the work in progress a very high grade. If we bring in players (fullbacks in particular) of a similar quality to those players we signed in the summer in other positions and if we finish somewhere in the top ten, this may go down as one of the best windows in Premier League history, literally. Thus far, it's very, very good. I would imagine the likes of West Ham, for a change, are looking at us with envy and not the other way around.

Agree, now we can have 9 subs i would like to see at least three of the young players start to get a few minutes game time

When Eze is back and without further injury that is looking unlikely. ATM our bench is as strong as I can ever remember.
