On the bright side, at the moment, we are not bottom of the league.

Andersen looks pretty good too with the ball.

Chelsea are one of the top sides in world football, chalk this one down to experience.

Exactly

What’s refreshing is Vieira is not frightened to make changes

In a way,it's good that we have played a team like Chelsea for our first match.

No-one really expected a result against the best in europe, but it will certainly have given PV food for thought and show up all our shortcomings and weaknesses in one game.

However much they may do on the training ground or in pre-season friendlies, there's nothing like a real, competitive environment to show the up the worst of us (and the best, even if we struggle to see any today )

That was a tough pill to swallow as a season opener. We may be the first team to get beaten at Stamford Bridge this season but we definately wont be the last.

No idea why people were happy when he was given a new contract. Hasn’t been good enough at this level for 3-4 years. Consistently out of position and too slow to recover. The look Wilf gave him at the end says it all.

Brentford at home next, that will also be a really tough game. I watched them play Arsenal, they have a spring in their step.

We could win that but I don't think it's a given. We will have to be at our best but we will have a few more options, in Andersen and Gallagher..
