What a great attitude! As he is now, I think he'll resist all the temptations there for a PL player and concentrate on being the best he can be as a footballer. I do worry that he may not be durable enough given the manner in which he was injured. Best of luck to the lad he deserves it. Can't wait until he's back in the squad.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

Echo the other comments - lovely interview and really great bloke with a fantastic attitude. Kudos to Steve Maclaren too - obvs there are plenty of others out there who could have but just didn't find the right man in the right place.

Massive potential but am I missing something, what did he do last season that makes people so sure he's going to have such great impact ? I hope he does but Gallagher has already been so much more influential than eze.

How the two of them dovetail will be fascinating One key difference is we actually own Eze whereas Gallagher will in all likelihood be a one season wonder. Also Eze is the more likely to unlock defences from what we have seen so far. Gallagher is good on the ball but Eze adds another dimension there. He provides the ball and Gallagher arrives late in the box to put it away in simplistic terms?

Hopefully Nathan Ferguson will also be back soon as he had the same injury at about the same time... great to have both back....

The way he runs with ball so effortlessly makes him a major threat. It was also his first season in the prem in what was a negative/defensive team, compared with Gallagher who played all last season in the prem with WBA and now playing in a more progressive/attacking side. The thought of Eze, Gallagher and Zaha in the same team is mouthwatering.

And maybe the fact that he pick up the creative mantle when Zaha's form dipped. And maybe the blindingly obvious fact that he's very very talented. Another good year with us in this more progressive set up and the big boys will come calling for him, I've got no doubt about it.
