It is though quite important if you want to be taken seriously, before I make any post or write any letter etc I always have a quick check and if necessary copy and paste on google or such like, not difficult to improve ones writing and the more you write the better you'll become, spellchecker will even highlight your spelling mistakes as you go along, there really is no excuses in this day and age.
