It is certainly encouraging to see a lot more positive noises coming from the youth set up. Hopefully a few of those youngsters will progress to the first team squad in years to come.

Regarding the Burnley Fulham draw tonight, a good result for us as it keeps them below us.

Really believe that Hodgson will wake up and properly prepare the squad as he may finally get the drift that, given all the speculation, that his job may well be on the line if we fail to get at least a point. Edited by Jacey (17 Feb 2021 9.22pm) Very optimistic to think Roy will change anything for the game. He is the most predictable manager we’ve ever had. If we get any kind of result he wouldn’t change the starting XI. If we had Messi he’d be on the bench. Seeing as we got humped in the last game he’ll make the trademark changes. Mitchell, Ward and Cahill in for PVA, Clyne and Dann. Benteke and Bats will drop out for Townsend and Mateta. These changes will count for nothing as we will still play with no energy, passion or leadership. Not a chance in hell a 73yo manager is suddenly going to change how he coaches or motivates the team.

BHA 3 - 0 Palace That goblin Maupay will score two. The cretin Dunk will get the third. And I feel like I may be overly optimistic by that score line. Edited by Wilbraham413 (18 Feb 2021 2.51am)
