The player, the potential, the speed and the relative smoothness in the transfer negotiations/deal etc. Well done to all involved and hopefully a positive sign of things to come. From everything I've seen of him he'll be another exciting addition just like Eze...we just need to give him a bit of time

Super excited about this. Can’t believe Vieira has only been here a few days and we have already made what looks like a very exciting acquisition. Can’t wait to see who else we can bring in in the next few weeks.

He looks an amazing talent and if we really did get him for £8 million then that is bonkers in today's market. Hopefully we are becoming known as a place where young and exciting players want to play. Also, well done to Dougie and his team. He pulled it off with Eze last summer and he's done it again. As a side note, I also like Vieira's confident statement that this is the first of more to come, which suggests there may already be deals in the pipeline.

Excellent bit of business this. Well done Dougie. Reassuring that we've been following him for a time and PV is hinting that more are to follow. If there was ever a season not to do the last minute thing this is it. The hope is that there might be a plan in place and that this was simply greenlighted first by PV as he already knows him.
