A depleted Sheff Utd tonight with a re-vamped back three with Jags in the middle.

Such an important game but they seem to have run out of personnel.

And currently Fulham leading them 1-0,which is bad for us,as they edge ever closer to our points tally.

Yup, ten man WBA completely bossed the game against a team who last week battered us 3-0 at home! How they didn’t score at least one of their many good chances is beyond me.

Burnley’s mid week game versus Fulham caught up with them today?

Cannot see anything other than a Fulham win next week and our gap will be down to a mere 4 points as I anticipate yet another defeat tomorrow at Brighton, who also are in a rich vein of form.
Very worrying times as we continue our downward spiral.

If Fulham do stay up they will have divine VAR guidance to thank.

Sheff Utd understandably aggrieved over the most stonewall of stonewall penalties denied.

The VAR claim that the goalkeeper got the ball shot down by MOTD and video.

It's now 'get your eyes tested, VAR'

The bottom three look miles better than us on current form. They also look much more motivated. That's the worry.

Newcastle lost again last night, not unexpectedly to Man U,keeping them well below us.
If we lose tonight and again to a resurgent Fulham ,our position could look very different with Newcastle facing a run of winnable games.
Time for us to start getting some decent results rather than our reliance on there being three worse teams, beginning with the Brighton game tonight, where even a point would be a good result.

In terms of our own supporters, in the main I believe they are not concluding we have any "Winnable games".
There is a mood of alarm and despondency.

VAR is an absolute joke and I’m sick and fed up of the differing and wrong interpretations of it.

Just watched Dermot Gallagher try and defend the decision On Sky’s Refwatch by saying it was a clear block by the goalkeeper and he ‘got plenty of the ball’. This is from a bloke who has repeatedly said it makes no difference if you get the ball or not?! Secondly Stephen Warnock (incorrectly) saying the goalkeeper didn’t raise his foot or anything?! I suggest you watch it again Stephen as the keeper takes the biggest swipe with his raised right foot that you could imagine!

And don’t get me started on Bamford’s latest disallowed goal against Wolves either, as they clearly drew the VAR lines in the wrong place again.

Show me one football fan who agrees with VAR. Show me one football fan who agrees with Dermot Gallagher (and I mean real fan, not Man City shirt wearer). Show me one football fan who thinks players earn their wages. Show me one football fan who thinks Sky Sports News is still worth watching. Then realise how much is being taken away from the real fans. What do they want, a game for tourists to talk about and ready for Chinese betting markets?
The fans should give up - it would be hilarious. The powers that be don't seem to realise there is no game without fans.

I agree bar the bit about fans.
I think this sanitised period without fans in the ground has been recognised widely as pretty much killing the game.
I have pretty much stopped watching all football now because without the buzz of the fans it is just plain boring.
I watch Palace of course - sometimes I wonder why - but if this ban of fans from Grounds were to continue into next season then Sky would see a huge exodus of viewers and the Clubs would lose some fans forever.
We are important right now even if they don't/won't show that appreciation!

I’m afraid football has gone from being all about fans in the ground, to being all about the worldwide sale of media rights to the game. I don’t think anyone at Sky gives a stuff about fans. They might if everyone cancels their subscriptions though. I did, saved me a fortune, (well, about £65 a month anyway compared to my new streaming service).
