Farnell a solicitor is not deemed a fit and proper person to be a director of the club according to the EFL.

You have to wonder why he still has a licence to practice law if that is the case.

Nothing has changed the EFL rejected 3 directors who front for the owner so he is dispensing with those that he can do without. However it is not just about who is fit and proper Charlton have to show the EFL they have the funds to complete the season so far all the owners have done is rape the club without putting any finances in. The owner could propose Gandi as a director the EFL still need him to "show me the money".

I had to laugh about the last comment that Charlton are still considering appealing the decision to deduct Sheffield Wednesday's points from next season, still?

By they time they get their act together the season will have started it is too late for that.

In one of life's little ironies, Richard '' enjoy the Championship '' Murray is now almost as reviled by the clowns as the evil Belgian.

I read that Charlton has one of the best acadamies around.

But it does not translate to success does it, so you can understand managers being wary.

Personally I think that's wrong and it is essential for talent to be able to come through.

Hopefully we will have 3 or 4 of our academy youngsters actually making it next season.

It depends what you call '' success ''.

If it's producing players, developing them and then selling them on for significant fees or them achieving results on the field.

Given Charlton's plight I would say that neither are working that well for them just now.

I think we should pinch some of their staff.

A Danish / American business Thomas Sandgaard says he wants to buy Charlton hopefully he is serious but worryingly he had not talked to the Belgium who owns the ground. he does have money and appears to be a legitimate businessman so should pass the fit and proper tests.

The real issue is will he pay £50m for the ground which the current owners are contracted to or can he persuade the Belgium to drop his price.

Unfortunately some people like to raise their public profile by saying they will buy a football club I hope he is not one of them.

In other news the Clowns are getting all excited

""Greenwich Council getting involved big style they have asked sports minister to get involved because they are not prepared to let Charlton go out of business OR leave the Borough. Hopefully this will mean compulsory purchase and the club gets a secure tenancies.""

I can guess what the sports minister will say, NO.

If we start using taxpayer money to buy football clubs every crook will follow the Charlton route, rape the club of its money and assets and do a runner because the taxpayer will foot the bill. Never going to happen.
