The obvious answer is that the Fermi paradox is just a symptom of censorship.
It's quite likely that the universe is largely uniform but how many factors have to come together to allow for a complex life supporting planet is unknown.
It is very possible that life is scarce in relative terms.
In a galaxy with billions of stars, that still means there is likely to be a significant number of Earth like planets, but with solid evidence for only one and that one having a very complex path to supporting life, it is still a big question.

That really depends on what is required for complex life.

For example, we have a large Moon which scientists are still puzzled about.
Humans were allowed to evolve because of a meteor strike.
Earth had no life for longer than it has had life. What happened to change things?
Earth got to be in the Goldilocks zone through a complex rearrangement of the planets in a way that has not been seen elsewhere so far.

Many variables and no way to know the frequency or importance of them.

This is a strange one.

Heard lots of banging and scraping in the kitchen this morning, around 5am.
When I looked out the window, there was this white monolith in the drive. Just sitting there (see photo)

I went to go back to bed, and was awoken by a roaring sound outside, and orange flashing lights were shining through the bedroom curtains.
I took a peek, and saw shadowy aliens loading the monolith into this huge starship.

A big roar , and off the starship screamed, a few seconds later it was gone.

What can it mean ?

Interesting, but at least one bit of video they showed was fake.

It seems clear to me that some branches of government have no idea what is going on while other parties control information very carefully.
You find out something significant when the secrecy occasionally fails. You can't keep everyone quiet all the time, and most secrets leak out over time if anyone is paying attention.

That is pretty clear.

UFOs are either not of this Earth or someone here has incredible technology.

I know which one my money's on.
