I can't see why we need a player who struggles to get into the Brighton squad, just because he previously played here. Plus he's 100% 'Brighton'; never moved from there when he played for us and did training runs around Preston Park, wearing a Brighton shirt, despite being a Palace player at the time. We can do a lot better. And he ran he contract down to move to us. My estimation of him has suddenly gone down. Great player for us but sounds like someone interested in number 1 and a right turn off as a pal. Just an acquaintance.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

After Palace signed him a former work colleague rented his Preston Park flat. They received some of his post and I asked if I could have it...they refused

I see Scott Sinclair is possibly returning to England and signing for Preston. He is now at the right age for our current squad maybe we should dive in as he is only 30.

Last season he scored 17 goals and the previous season 18 goals but of course these were for Celtic who are the top team in a league far inferior to the PL. But I understand why you are positive about the suggestion.

It seems somewhat unlikely that he moved his family to Brighton whilst playing at Palace, Bournemouth and Reading in advance of the possibility he may go back there:

Roll on week 2 Not been a great number of transfers across all divisions and I believe there have only been 2 PL transfers, a 'Free' and a Loan. As ever, there will be a raft of signings towards the end of the 'Window' particularly on the last day.

But I'd also point out we are unable to name a competitive starting XI this Saturday!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

As ever, there will be a raft of signings towards the end of the 'Window' particularly on the last day. With all due respect, I don't care how many transfers there have been across the league. We have known since the beginning of the season we were massively short in the squad, especially at full back and attacking positions. Following that, we have spent December and the start of this month with a huge number of injuries to first team players. We will also have a bench of kids on Saturday. The club has known and had months to plan purchases and there is not a single reason that deals could not be tied up before the window. Liverpool managed to sign Minamino before the window and register him on 1st Jan. It is criminal that we haven't signed at least a right back to date and negligent from the board if they don't sign anyone before the weekend. We took an advance on the AWB money so there should be money to spend and it's not fair on Roy to be so poorly backed.

Im sure the AWB money went to the americans to get rid of them. There is no long term planning at the club from stadium to squad all quick fixes.
