We've gone from one of the most exciting teams to watch to one of the worst to watch. Give me 20% possession every game where when we get the ball we just attack with intent and speed. We've got an ageing squad which is probably a benefit as we will have enough experience not to worry about relegation but I can't wait for changes.

That was pony, lucky for me I was in a pub watching it, are we ever going to attack any team that we play or just hope that we get a pen and hold on for dear life. BORING

On my way back from yet another disappointing game, a long and expensive day and saw no real desire from the tactics or the team.

I counted 3 shots on goal, all very poor. An ultra defensive line up that Roy failed to change in order to keep the score respectable rather than attack again.

I bought two friends who were completely bored.

Roy will get us to a safe mid table to lower table position, after however many seasons we have spent in the premiership it isn't an amazing feet, it's what we should expect. The board wont sack him as we are too stable.

A lot of players were completely anonymous today. We cant keep blaming bad recruitment on Freedman, the manager has to take responsibility for this. He's had loads of opportunities to make the squad better and hasnt taken them.

It's an extra £20 an hour for them to pretend to enjoy themselves

Are you seriously blaming Guiata for those goals? FFS. The first one PVA ducked under the ball and we left the player unmarked, 6 yds out. The 2nd was a very good move finished by a top class finisher

That's two weeks running where we've seen what a bonus having someone who can take very good set-pieces brings to a team (unfortunately for the other team!). I love Luka, but we need to improve in this area. We have big players who are very good in the air but nearly every time the ball just floats into the box. Maddison made the difference today and as much as he looks like he is a smug git his set plays and passing was way above anything we could deliver.

I feel a bit bad constantly complaining about one of our own players, but seriously, what does Schlupp bring to central midfield? He gave the ball away which led to the second goal and even failed to show the desire to win it back. He had one deflected shot but aside from that I don't remember him contributing anything positive.

I expect us to lose a fair number of games, but this is probably the most boring we've been since coming back up. I really hope Townsend is back for next weekend as with just Wilf and Ayew as our only attacking threat we look f**king awful.

I will say that I thought McArthur was one of the only players to stand out today. Some neat play and dribbles and tenacious as ever.

He flapped at the first one and could have saved the second with his foot a la De Gea.

I was behind the goal and apportion no blame to the keeper for either goal. Our defenders need to learn how to head corners away and how to mark in the box.

Anyone watching on sky, can you let me know if Evans's tackle on Kouyate could have been a red. From where I was it looked quite high and reckless

It was never going to be an easy game against Leicester.

My view at the time was that it was a red so equally interested. Their players fell over very easily throughout the game.

No complaints about the result but thought we were decent first half and McArthur and Kouyate our best players by a distance.

Schlupp isn't doing enough to warrant selection and we badly missed Townsend's ability to carry the ball.

With the lack of other decent attacking options the opposition are able to double up on Zaha and push him further from their goal.

Ayew started well but looked as though he couldn't hack the attention from their long haired centre back who was cut too much slack by the ref who was generally poor and looked like he was guessing.

The Leicester players just seemed happier... Smiling, joking and clearly enjoying their football. Not sure Zaha ever broke his sullen look all game.

Beaten by a hard working team today, they closed us down when they needed to and broke at speed from their own half of the pitch. They seem to have an extra yard of pace than us and their crossing and passing was far better than us too.

When we did have a chance it was wasted by PVA, I thought he had a very poor game indeed...
