Good point first game ive watched in ages from Nz due to time difference and work. Benteke did nod on for the Zaha chance at the end. Got lucky on that VAR could easily been a penalty before Chambers fouled Mila. Good fighting point.

Going off piste how are the NZ ers taking the rugby defeat ?

Well that was another decent performance with everyone doing their bit to earn a point . VAR was again our friend as the ref was unable to make decisions in favour of the bigger club without being found out .

On that note was surprised the hairy kid wasn't red carded at the end for taking out Zaha as he was about to break . The ref then got Arsenal off the hook by blowing the final whistle as soon as the kick was taken . Surely the protocol is to wait until the attack is over ??

Anyway good point should have been 3 against a poor Arsenal side but I guess that's an indication of how far we have come under Roy .

Surprised? ferking stupefied!

Also I must say I have total sympathy for Ayew, who looked furious at being subbed off. Must be galling for him to constantly be getting replaced by Benteke.

Anyone think Guendozie should of been sent off for his rugby tackle on Wilf.

Maybe he thought he was in Japan playing Rugby

Somebody mention the rugby, not a fan personally but managed to watch bits of the game. Noticed at the end of the game (world cup semi final) that there wasn't any replays or examination of referee decisions.Just an interview of the losing coach who just wanted to congratulate the winning team and not make any excuses.

Ayew had run himself into the ground and Benteke is better at defending corners.

Not too bad really to tell the truth, everyone is like we were never ahead, never really looked like scoring, at least we didnt bottle it, got battered by the better team. Its been nearly 12 years since we lost RWC match so at least all the kids now know what we went through for all those years...

A very good point but will never happen in prima Dona football.

Great to hear Shuffiin just as you would expect from a true sporting nation.

Ayew should never have been taken for that stocking of s*** Benteke. He was giving their centre half’s a torrid time.

Have to agree. He puts us under so much pressure with his wasteful flounces.

He and all his team mates created all of Arsenals best moments, Liverpool and Man.C hardly do it ..Zaha needs to play much better for top move.

He wasn't pleased was he, but I understand the reasoning for bringing him on and the problem today of who to take off.
