So he’s scored 32 in 65 in the Scottish league, none in 9 games v the only decent team up there , but he will score 30 playing against the best defenders in Europe?
Think he’d need a goal a game in that pony league to be decent down here. I’d expect Ayew to get a goal every 2 games in Scotland.
Who was the last decent goalscorer to come down South and do well, not a p*ss take , just can’t think of one.
I’d be happy to sign anyone , but Bowyer was right a move to Brentford is the same levels as going to Rangers. I like Rangers , always look for their results and love the ‘proud to be British ‘ attitude, but let’s have it right , the best player they have is managing them and Defoe struggled to get on the bench at Bournemouth.
Rangers1980 you was a lot more fun last night when you was flying into a crate of super tenants.

Teddy Eagle, I seriously hope your supporters aren't actually like you. I came here with respect about you guys possibly signing an actual phenomenal young lad talent. Don't push for trouble because if we do play you guys I am a member of rangers ICF. I came on here respecting, don't be a little c***. It will go wrong.

Nawty.

Having seen a few highlights of his goals there are a lot of tap ins from poor defending. I don’t think he gets those opportunities if he is playing in a decent league. I’d like him but anything over 15-20 million is far too much for a player that’s only done it in a league that’s championship level at best.

You’re right but tap ins are something we’ve been short of. If he could play off Benteke it could work out. Obviously not the greatest guide but the people who see him every week really do rate him.

He could teach Benteke how to finish a sitter.

Great post, you've hit the nail on the head.
The Scottish league is the equivalent of League 1.
If Rangers or even Celtic were in the Premier league with their current squads, they would both struggle to even finish top 10.

Not having that mate.
He ragdolls any defence on his own.
You’ll genuinely love the wee guy after one game trust me.

CP are a great fit for him just now getting out this tinpot league we’re in because he’s going to be a star and will eventually move to a much bigger team....guaranteed.

Obviously premier money would change things, but If Fulham got relegated with Mitrovic, Sessegnon, schurler,Babel etc
Rangers would be relegated , bottom , with their current squad.
They might do alright in a one off game, but they’d be smashed weekly over a season.

Can’t disagree with that.

A: Same as an English one if you give them £60-120m a year for the next 10 years

Its a dumb arguement, I could build a decent Premiership side if you give me a billion pounds over the next 10 years...

Yep. If Rangers and Celtic were in the Prem then after stabilising it’ll be down to their non tv revenue how they do over time. I’m not sure if they’d be challenging the top 2-4 but you’d expect them to be higher than Newcastle and close to the top after finding their way. The thing is I wouldn’t be surprised if Celtic were more successful in the EPL than Rangers due to the worldwide earning potential from people with Irish heritage. People in the states and down under. They wouldn’t capture the Asian and African markets though. They’ve been cornered already by those at the top from their successes from previous decades. Obviously Man City aren’t included but apparently school children across the globe are choosing them as is how tv fans find their team.

The Celtic brand is taking a absalute pounding just now with all that’s going on with the cover up that’s went on for 40 years.
