Guys, I think you are all wrong to be honest. Cahill is a top quality centre back with great attributes. Yes, speed is an issue but he will be one to put himself on the line and in Tomkins, Sakho, Kelly and Cahill we have a solid defensive core. I do believe this will spell the end for Dann who has been rumoured to be going back to Blackburn but I think everyone would agree that we’ve had Dann’s best days.

This leaves us to sign a right back, a replacement for the ageing McArthur, and possibly two strikers, one of which will no doubt be on loan.

Bring on the transfer deadline day.

I like this a lot, solid experienced defender with no transfer fee, lets hope first of 3 or 4.
