Making sure the Americans haven’t lost a penny or dime to be precise. or parish. do you not think its good we are maintaining PL football without any of the owners being out of pocket? i do. as much as we all dislike it, football is a business and to be sustainable should be lauded as a success.

Or you accept that some losses are incurred until your asset is sold and then you make your profit. The last few years of financial, and with it, squad management, have been very risky, and frankly taking a liberty with the management. They were lucky that a) There was a Roy and available, and b) He was prepared to take on and accept it. Otherwise we’d be well and truly fecked. Make no mistake about it. Football is not the same as other business to consumer businesses. Many of them know they’re going to operate at a loss until sale. This lot have been prepared to risk our place in the league. And then there’s nothing happening on the stand they originally came in for. FWIW I’ve accepted the way it’s run because it’s wasted emotion and dreaming otherwise. I still read many posts about spending the rest of the AWB money and dozens of millions on Zaha’s replacement. That said I agree the wage bill needs reducing. It’s the things the management have been subjected to I don’t, and neither does roy. That’s a fact, not my opinion.

Not to every club it isn't as quite a few Premiership clubs have absolutely no chance of returning a profit to their owners including our greatest rival

He was impressive. Grady Diangana on loan to WBA from W.Ham also did well.

People in the Palace board should just read more what we talk about here on this board: [Link] They buy-out clause is just 10 million euros. A bargain in today's world for a 23 year old with this potential and a Portuguese passport too.

Saw him play last Friday and was very very impressed but have to say I do not follow the Belgium league close enough to have a proper opinion.
