I did mean Sako when I posted earlier on this thread. As far as I know he was on a short term contract until the season ended and hasn't signed a new one but I may be wrong. If it hasn't already happened then I think he will be offered a contract - he will be a squad player.

I agree we need competition for PVA at left back and definitely a striker and, in my view, a creative midfielder. I suppose it's possible Meyer could fulfil the latter role but I'm not 100% convinced.

Unless we make some big money through sales (I hope we don't) then I think we will continue to shop at Aldi this summer.

I think Souare's contract runs out in June and to my knowledge we have not renewed it. I wonder if after his injury problems if we will renew and if we do how good a deal he will be offered as I can see it being a fraction of his previous deal possibly with high performance/game played bonuses

Cenk Tosun from Everton would be a good option. I guess there was an approach within the season but it didn`t work out.

I know him well as he played for my home-county team and has a top finish. He may not be a game changer for away games but would definitely add value at home games that we missed several easy shots.

Assuming that he can not take minutes in Everton, Palace can be a good place to play for a team which targets first-10 in EPL.
