Cripes, we've got Sako Potatoes, Cabaye, Gayle, Yala, Moses. Has AJ still got his boots buffed ? Also other players like Tosun and Jenkinson who apparently gave us a snub in the past !! Really hope somebody unexpected arrives in the window.

“You seem to have listed every major signing for the last four years. We are doing well to still be in the top flight, but let’s not stop hoping for better things.”

Yes I have and lets not forget we have the 17th highest wage bill in Europe. Lets discuss , Sako v Boiasie pros and cons. Bolasie is an Everton player on £70 thousand a week. Sigining would involve paying his loan fee and wage. Sako is a free agent on possibly half that. Bolasie is half the player he was when he was at Palace he could not cut it in the championship.

Hoping for better things no club outside the top six has won anything in the last ten years apart from Wigan winning the FA cup and Leicester fluking the league title (a freak season)

There are not many readily avalible strikers around that would fit straight into the first team. Defoe possibly, Solanki not match fit, Tosun Everton fo not want a loan deal, Maja an unknown quantity.

I wonder if he will start more than the 15 league games he started in in three years he had with us

Unlikely.....the only way this would make any sense would be a pay as you play deal.

Why would we, only scored more times last season in a dozen games than tekers , Sorloth , Ayew and that other bloke that last scored when Roy was in charge of England in the last 2 years combined.

I'd assume it's to resume his role as adequate back-up striker... but who's the first choice? Benteke can't do it. My god I hope Conner Wickham finally comes good, I really do.

I'm not necessarily anti the appointment - it would give us a sub option other than Schlupp - but it must be frustrating for the manager that this is his backing in a window

Nothing short of an embarrassment! We appear to be themost cash strapped, least prepared outfit in the Premier. Every window is the same an absolute charade!

Every window is not the same. Have you forgotten BFS's trolly dash and the 30m spent on Sakho and the 27m spent on Benteke.

I disagree. The world is full of quality strikers who are at least better than what we have.
