Awful state of affairs, all very sad. In all honesty if he has been in the ocean in these conditions for three days, he's got no chance. The authorities are right to call it off now. Amazing in this day and age with all the technology we have that this kind of thing can still happen. Most likely they all died on impact I’m afraid and the planes at the bottom of sea in pieces. Unless they were all found almost straight way there’s no chance. It’s a pretty grim way to go. On top of all the search and rescue planes, helicopters and boats there are loads of fishing boats operating in the area. It’s likely what’s left will just was around the seabed for a few weeks before washing up somewhere in a few weeks.

My parking sensors went mental recently over a leaf.

The one thing i find odd about all this is why the pilot didn’t send a Mayday call.

Don't be so sure, they've not said whether it's the pilot or Sala yet, he could still have done an elaborate Reggie Perrin

In the short term maybe, but one for the insurers I'd have thought - the aircraft was US registered so that may complicate things.
