Bad looking hairplugs and all. Seriously, if he doesn't want to be here then forget him

If what news reports are saying is true, Tosun has rejected a loan move to Palace as well as a number of other clubs. Remember he rejected us before moving to Everton too? He clearly doesn't want to move here so let's forget this guy. He'd just be another Adebayor. I read he has rejected a loan to anyone, want to stay and fight for his place, maybe he is just on great wages, can't see him getting in the 1st team with the strikers they have/getting.

Reading between the lines, Silva must be really annoyed that fringe players like Tosun won't leave and Bolasie has come back! It seems their not moving is limiting his transfer plans. If Tosun has said no then at least we have a little bit of time to move onto the next target, rather than trying to do it at 3pm on 31st January.

I hope that we knock on the door and if we don't get a positive response we just move onto the next target.

We are not going to sign a centre forward in any event.

Interesting article, however what gets me is why teams think their players are still worth almost what they paid for them when they have failed and are obviously not wanted. For example, do you think we would ever get £12m for Sloth and no way is Tosun worth £20m. Everton have paid over the odds for fairly average players for many seasons now as they are an almost club and can't quite attract the top top players.

Think they paid a lot more for him than that, £27 million. In regards to Everton I personally felt that they messed us around with Niasse whatever was said about his agent, as his deal depended on another one within the club that did not materialise.
