Yes I think you are right. Many have said we do have 'cover' for the wide positions. We dont, we have other players we can put out there but no natural wide player that can compete with Wilf and Andros. Yes Kai Kai but he is no where near the first team. If he wasnt palace I dont think this would be under consideration. I think this will be pushed by Parish and maybe Dougie. Wilf,AWB and Moses in the same team - aesthetically thats very pleasing to the eye

I've nothing against Victor Moses and would love to see him in a Palace shirt again. BUT...I don't see how we can afford his fee and wages given the comments Roy has made to the press and the apparent pursuit of a '' cut price '' striker in Niasse. We are doing our shopping at the lower end of the market unless we sell someone that will generate real cash. And I don't understand why Victor would want to come to Palace to compete or provide cover for a place. We are hardly in the business of signing squad players at £12m Old, Ungifted and White
