Unfortunately for you I'm aware of history.

In the early seventies the pro common market lobby said many many times that joining wouldn't lead to a loss of sovereignty. A false vision of joining was presented many times. These lies led to many of the older generation who remembered what their relations told them to be so resentful when 2016 came around.

I remember the set up for what became 'gay marriage'. First it was set up as same sex partnerships. I remember when this occurred. At the time the government didn't state that this would led to 'gay marriage'......only then years later did we get 'gay marriage'.

In terms of society 'gay marriage' wasn't that unpopular to be fair.....and I can see the fairness of it also. But I have problems with its implications in terms of children, which is where I personally draw the line.

However it was very unpopular and remains unpopular with social conservatives.

I digress....the point is before an unpopular concept can be legally forced upon people they have to be prepared first, years in advance: This is how it's done.

This agreement hasn't been made for no reason. It has been made to shift the line of acceptance and prepare for legal changes.

I love how you say "Unfortunately for you" as if you automatically know that your opinions and knowledge are superior to mine.

I've been a lurker here for a long time, I don't want to waste my day arguing with you, I've seen what you're like. I simply wanted to present some actual facts, and not scaremongering.

They are just preparing for when the world population has doubled and Europeans finally realise that their days are numbered.
Of course, by the time the s*** really hits the fan, our rulers will be in some walled city where only the super rich are allowed, while the rest of us live in our own excrement.

I truly recommend people to read that link...especially to the end.

Then reflect on where they think the truth is.

Yep....the middle class and higher live in their balkanized areas insulated from the mess that some of them have created and almost amusingly support. It's just going to get a lot more obvious as we go on.....It seems that we are always just ten years behind America.

Well, thank goodness for your prescience then.

It makes all the difference

And there's that superiority complex again. I'll sign off for now chaps, glad I've finally joined after years of reading the boards for Palace news while despairing at a small percentage of the somewhat out-there opinions, but I'm done for the day. Up the Palace. Watch out for those pesky migrants come to steal your civilisation away or something.x

I regard the opinion you stated as inferior to the reality certainly.

How you feel about me is irrelevant.
