Isn't it just good to have found a safe back=up? To be fair, Julians reactions can't be like they were 10 years ago, and at the time I thought we did well getting £2.5m for Alex McCarthy - was quite good business! Keepers seem to work to a different career progression, time will tell!

Guaita's distribution seems better than Hennessy's so on that basis I would keep him in the team as first choice.

Lol. Guaita hasn’t played as many games, PZ Eagle. Not exactly a fair comparison is it. Hennessey has made 105 appearances for Palace. Once Guaita has played over a hundred times, then the comparison between his “many” and Wayne’s “not very many” may be more stark. Edited by Maine Eagle (15 Dec 2018 7.22pm) Chances are Guaita will start against Man City as Hennesseys back injury may mean him being rested. It will give everyone a chance to see how good he is, didn't have much to do against Leicester and got the luck of the bounce of the post, could easily been different.

Idiotic post.

To get that luck, he made a world class save down low from a shot close in - not Wayne’s forte. Time will indeed tell.

What a save. I mean what a save. Great to have a revitalised Wayne AND Vicente to choose from...
George Courtney, the World Cup referee, everyone is looking at him. When will he blow....? |

Hennessey is much better lately and has made some good saves that he once might have missed, but that one today from Guaita was absolutely world class.

Imagine if it had been Wayne who did that. Yeah everyone would have said it was a foul as well. A bit of Guaita made a great save and it was a valuable 3pts wouldn’t go amiss.
