Nor does chucking in a load of youth players seem like a way to build a great team. The best thing we can do, if possible, is work out how not to have the injury problems we had this season. If the majority of the current squad are available throughout next season, and with a couple of astute signings, we’ll be looking very good.
Then look for players so that we have at least 2 good players in each position.

Delaney and Punch hopefully won't be playing for us next season. Both been good for us but not good enough anymore. Speroni retire? Probably stay as a coach or something. Players like Mutch, Lee etc will hopefully go. I'd like us to offer Sako another contract. If we don't he'll probably go back to Wolves.

Mutch will stay because he has another year and no one will take his wages on. Maybe the best chance is if Cardiff get promoted and panic buy.

likelihood is that we would have to sponsor his wages if he was to go. Originally posted by mileend

This post has been merged from a topic called 'James McArther . Must get a new contract' by Midlands Eagle Absolutely agree and so do the club because I heard it stated on different podcast that he has signed a two year extension but won't be announced until guaranteed safety which will be this weekend 🤞.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Which players are out of contract' by Midlands Eagle i believe Sako is on about 80K, not worth renewing at that level, free transfers can push there salary up.
