An amnesty say, for example for people who have lived here for 10 years minimum, and with no criminal record.

So we no longer deport illegal immigrants? For ever or just for a period? Any qualifying criteria, or do we basically just open the doors to anyone who fancies it?

Been doing that for years any way.

They will be hounding a lot of people out in the coming years then. 250k new ones are arriving every year.
As with all of these people, I'm afraid my self interest comes first.

At least you admit it, I guess.

As soon as you perceive your self interest to be threatened, you will act against it as well.

Your perception of self interest is just different to his.

Acting in your self interest isn't necessarily wrong or harmful, context matters. It's what people do all the time and how nature works.

I am afraid 'your self-interest' may look rather different if you need an urgent NHS operation and it is cancelled as there are not enough nurses left, 800 returning to the EU already and only 50 replacements.

We will train British nurses and any difference is the fault of politicians not the underlying principle.

She should resign because she has bought into their narrative.

Put real Tories into the leadership of the Tory party. It tries to play social justice and is a joke.

I want Mogg or Johnson or even Williamson.

Surely it stands to reason that the target for the removal of illegal immigrants should be 100%?

Thank you, I just started typing on a similar theme. Of course you should have targets for removing illegals how else will you know if you are doing a good job.

Amber Rudd should not resign unless someone can prove she has knowingly lied to the House. She gets her information from civil servants so she was misinformed, unless other evidence comes to light. I would stick up for Diane Abbott on this as well if she was Home Secretary . It is ridiculous to sack a minister when an underling screws up.

Nursing course applications fall for second year after student bursary scrapped.

Student loan write-offs and other incentives urgently needed to prevent 'unimaginable problems' caused by the removal of nursing bursary, leaders warn.

There are less nursing applicants every year.

To add to all those leaving for whatever reason.

In fact you may not get a qualified nurse much longer, more likely an unqualified 'health-care assistant'.
