The very least supporters can do is get the names of the team they support correct. They just have to go to the CPFC website or even this website's home page to see the correct spellings. The only people who moan about this are those that can't admit they are wrong, lazy and show no respect for the team they support.

Everyone makes mistakes but we aren't children and spelling is important. Poor English will always irritate a set of people, just as poor grammar does.

Spelling names correctly is just a matter of respect. I get annoyed with businesses that spell my name wrongly despite being corrected to the point where I don't buy from them. If they get my name wrong, what else will they f*** up? The following are all misspellings I've seen on here:

McArthur not McCarthur and not MacArthur either
Tomkins not Tompkins
Hennessey with two 'n's and two 's's
Mamadou Sakho with an 'h'
Bakary Sako without an 'h'
Riedewald not Reidewald
Wickham not Whickham or Whickam
Benteke with one 'k' not two

That said of course this is a web forum with a web forum's interface and people with fingers like Cumberland sausages are using it on a tiny phone with a window the size of a postage stamp.

Looks a good prospect. Noticed Tompkins picked on his positional sense needs to improve. Not quite sure in the last 5 minutes why he was powering forward when we were 2-0 up. One of the times towards the end when we lost possession Huddersfield ended up with a clear shot at goal as he and Townsend were up the park. Ok if we are 1-0 down but no need when we are 2-0 up.
