No game. I just don't see how opinions are being stifled here. Man exercises his right to free speech and expresses his opinion in a national newspaper. Multi-million pound company exercise their right to respond to their customers' concerns (because it could potentially affect their business) and withdraw advertising. Man continues to express his opinion in a national newspaper. Free speech alive and well.

Is there a magic number?

You are not commenting on the activists who seek to damage the reputation of these companies through their lefty mates in the media highlighting their complaints. So you think that companies make these decisions out of some sense of agreeing with lefty morality. The same companies who use capitalism and the courts to fight their competition with no regard to morality at all.

I don’t agree with same sex couples having children, but I respect their right to do so.

Off topic perhaps, but as for the activists, isn't that exactly what an activist - regardless of political stance - tries to do, though, and initiate some sort of change? There must be plenty of companies who successfully ignore their antics and keep profits ticking over very well.

However, I most strongly object to these companies caving to activists because of what amounts to media bullying. There is a section of both the far or activist left and right who are prepared to sack people and disown people and publicly dox people and while.....the lefty ones hold sway culturally at the moment I consider this kind of activist power as negative for society and something that needs to be reigned in.

Enough kids in the world already so we should look at a fair and efficient adoption system. That's my only issue. My real problem is with people who would reject my criticism, and those who if down the line are faced with a soaring percentage of population being in therapy, would blame those who don't subscribe to their ideals. Edited by johnfirewall (19 Feb 2018 10.37am) People don't think beyond their own selfish needs and then play the victim when they are called out about it.
