Why are you supporting lies?

Ah yes...I remember, your problem with honesty.

You are the one with the problem if you can't decipher this honestly:

“You are advocating for cross generational relationships here, can we be honest about that?”

Milo: “Yeah, I don’t mind admitting that. I think particularly in the gay world and outside the Catholic church, if that’s where some of you want to go with this, I think in the gay world, some of the most important, enriching and incredibly life affirming, important shaping relationships very often between younger boys and older men, they can be hugely positive experiences for those young boys."

Whilst words aren't violence, it would be churlish to assume that statements and political rhetoric exist in an environment where they don't have influence or consequences: if they did, no one would be bothered. Do you really think that there isn't a connection between religious groups, for example, banging on about how god hates 'fags' and homophobic violence against gay people in society.

Attitudes against homosexuality are as old as the hills....existing from early civilisations. The 'god hates fags' group has what...about forty members? The media advertise them, which is unfortunate.

But yeah, words have consequences I think it would also be churlish to suggest otherwise. It's this belief that people should be censoring opinions that others get hurt feelings over that doesn't work.

I'm a social libertarian and so the recent moves towards censoring non violent opinion isn't something I can support.

And that's you saying Milo supports sex with 13 year old boys is it? He was speaking about a particular aspect of abuse within certain homosexual cultures.

You support lies.

Milo has made all of this clear and you don't care because....like I say, you prefer lies.

In that same interview you cite, he states: 'I think the [age of consent] law is probably about right, that is probably roughly the right age ... but there are certainly people who are capable of giving consent at a younger age, I certainly consider myself to be one of them.'

He was just speaking reality. It's just a reality many of us don't like.

Here is his statement after this issue.

You are the one out of touch with reality. My son is 13. Still very much a boy/child and Milo can fvck right off with his disgusting advocacy that if he were gay an older man would/could be good for him now. And your defending of him in that by trying to skirt around it is shocking and you should be ashamed.

It is you who should be ashamed for pushing lies. He agrees with the age of consent.

Again, watch Milo's statement about this. You don't get to speak for him.

tbh I don't want to engage with you on this anymore. I find it abhorrent. What Milo said and your defending of him on the issue. Ye gods man you teach 13 year olds. I have too. They are CHILDREN.

I'm defending him against people like you who are willing to lie yeah. His statement says it all. He believes in the age of consent and you are a mis-labeller because this man underwent abuse himself and is stumbling around about it.

I think his experiences are unfortunate and not healthy.

Obviously the age of consent has always been correct. It's how we best protect young minds.

Attaching me and my profession as having an issue with this is what is disgusting. I don't want to talk to you about it from here on in either.

From what I've read of this Milo guy, he does seem to be a bit of a paedophile apologist, if not worse. A sort of right wing Peter Tatchell - although Tatchell is sounds on some issue, like the gay cake. Perhaps Milo is sound on some issues. But both of them are a bit dodgy - wouldn't let them babysit the kids.

We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell]

Saville did a lot for kids. As does the Catholic Church.

What? So you are comparing Milo to an actual pedophile? He put together some words he's apologized for....and now he's a pedophile?

As for the Catholics....I like how you are willing to smear the entire church over pedophilia.....Yet I imagine you'd never do this with other religions.
