Jim White on Talksport just said what if we lose the next 4 games, which is very likely, what then? Sakho must be delighted he joined this shambles.

The last couple of weeks HOL has mostly been in a spin about Parish and why he won't sack De Boer. Now it appears he has, yet so much shock horror on HOL. Just makes me laugh that's all. Personally I thought we played our best Football all season including pre-season and maybe blindly believed that we were starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. Now new manager comes in and precedes to change to his preferred system of play, this takes time for the players to adapt to the new system and sometime around early November CPFC secure their first win. Just when things were finally starting to look up. You couldn't make this $hit up!

That isn't actually true. Some questioned the wisdom of the appointment in the first place and a large number thought that de Boer needed to slow down on the changes and make better use of the squad he had, but very few actually thought that we should seek a managerial change so soon after his appointment.

I suspect that any changes that Hodgson and company make will be well within most of our current squad's comfort zone and that the results will pick up fairly quickly. Hodgson doesn't have the problems that Allardyce had when he joined.

That's all very well but if FdB was a wrong call WTF is Hodgson? He made Kane take corners and turned Rooney into a tailor's dummy FFS.

...and Wilf is far less likely to get in the starting line up ...

Roy Hodgson is past his best days now. We got nobody else to look for it seems, so we going for a cheap option. Roy Hodgson did well at Fulham keep them up, i feel this our target now.

If it's really Roy hodgson then Parish's naivety is 100% proven.

I don't suppose de Boer had an indiscreet chat with an undercover journalist about FA regulations, did he?

A gentle reminder to those who have called this the most stupid decision ever at Palace.

Alan Mullery.

I didn't have time to get a real opinion of de Boer, but I was happy to give him time. As others have said, you would hope this is based on more than just 4 games as the performances against Liverpool and Burnley were ok and we are probably unlucky not to have 2-4pts.

I like it when we've had managers with a connection to the club, but I just think Roy is past it. This is not going to be an easy season and under pressure I genuinely worry he might get lost in the headlights.

As a final point, given Parish's twitter outburst I wonder if he himself may be looking to step aside. He has done so much for the club but it doesn't seem he is capable of making the next step up that he's been desperate to do and now he is starting to lose the support of what once were grateful fans.

I'm so glad I don't live in Brighton any more!

Bizarre timing from Parish, cannot see the point of not giving Frank the next four games. If Roy comes in this week and we lose to Southampton then in four games time we could be in the same position.

From what i have read post the Swansea match has been poor. Maybe not most, I'll give you that.

I hope you are correct in regards to Hodgson or whoever is appointed. Play to the teams strengths should be the the priority. Be nice to have a quicker rather than later approach this time around for a new appointment.
