I think today's performance is the sort of thing he wanted to see, so probably on the same page with FDB now.

Probably won't be if we lose to Southampton !

This type of thread is so predictable, full of foot stamping, but without a clue.
There has never been a Premier Chairman who has resigned from his own company, why should he.
What does he do for his £650,000 a year, a damned sight more than Mutch does for his £1.5m - £2m a year, who he is lumbered with after backing Pardew.
Why didn't he replace Sam quicker, finding who was thought suitable isn't a quick job, unless you sack a manager. Then you have had time to consider your options, ie Sam was named very quickly after Pardew was sacked.
We didn't get a chance of speaking to Silva, Watford had been planning to sack Mazzarri for sometime, so had Silva already lined up, if Hull went down.
Now is a time for holding your nerve and back your manager, we played much better today, when we get Zaha, RLC and Sakho fit, it will be a different story.

All true

I can't believe some of the s*** some 'fans' are giving him. So many bed wetters. We'll have some players back soon and we'll start getting some points, let's stick together. Wheres the palace spirit gone? Parish is the best thing that's ever happened to this club I love the guy.

hear hear, cannot believe the Parrish slagging - UNBELIEVABLE. Congratulations for spotting he's not perfect - Holloway was considered a catch stepping down when he joined us - Parrish's fault for Doogie p*ssing off was it? Pardew surprised most people stepping down to our level, he made bad buys - what does a chairman do? pick his own players or be like Simon Jordan and pay 2.3 mil for Ade Akninbyi to back his manager? It's not easy, a lot harder than blaming Parrish for over paid dead wood like Chungy, Mutch and Sako, but some buys don't work out, is the chairman supposed to pay relatively low salaries with the benefit of clairvoyance. Maybe he rubs his bosses up the wrong way, but Sam RETIRED. We've had 15 years in the top flight in our history - we've been relegated in five of those seasons and there are only about 4 or 5 seasons where we didn't seriously flirt with the drop. We didn't buy too many players in the summer but we spent £34 mil and spent 40mil in January - wtf do some of you expect? Then include competitive salaries. It's quite clear with a bit of patience we'll come good, it's a poor start and speak what you see but keep the toys in the pram, we're only Palace, our natural home is probably second tier, I'd like to see more action from Parrish with the stadium, not everything's within his control, but 7 years without an inch of progress is not good enough, but let's have a bit of perspective, some posts read like whining children.

We was unlucky today and should have at least got a point but am i the only one who thinks this is all PARISHS doing

surely anyone who watched us last season would know that we need players ??????????
goalkeeper and striker for sure and some decent squad players maybe like Brighton Huddersfield West Brom Burnley have done

We get no one except loanees a chap from holland who has growing pains and SAKHO

De bore must have identified players to bring in and Parish must have stopped him if not then DE bore has got to go now ????????

I think Parish's decision making can certainly be called into question over the last couple of years.

We were Championship bound until he finally pulled the trigger on Pardew, and was fortunate that Allardyce was available.

Having " turned the dial back " on the Pardew sanctioned expansive football, he's appointed a manager that seeks to play that and more. And with that backfiring badly, FDB has created a sort of half way house in terms of our approach.

We played some neat football at times today, but without a genuine cutting edge. Over the last 4 seasons we have been at our most effective when letting the opposition have the majority of possession , why change it unless we have the players to do it ?

I'm sure things will change once we get Wilf, Sakho and RLC back, and I think there will wind up being three worse teams than us, but the ambition to avoid a relegation battle this season already looks unlikely.

I've said it before, but the club is being run like we have just arrived ( late ) to the PL party - not like a club in it's 5th consecutive year

Why do some people think that a couple of dozen question marks or exclamation marks in a row is a substitute for an argument?

We've lost three out of four opening games to clubs that will be probably be sweeping the floor of the Premiership. We lost our manager but had three months to get it right. And we look shambolic on the pitch because we don't have enough support or cover for key players.

It's the football equivalent of Brexit!

We did not look shambolic we outplayed Burnley but gave them a goal, nothing new we have been doing the same thing for a year stop that and we are half way to winning games again.
