Not just that - 2 yellows in 3 games suggests a suspension in the not too distant future . . .

You have to wonder how much Niasse wants to play football ?

He won't get a look in at Everton, and is now stuck there until January (unless a foreign club comes in for him today).

If he really wanted to play first team football, he would have had words with his agent, who is supposed to be acting the players behalf, though nowadays seem to be acting in their own interests.

Spot on, my thoughts as well. Read somewhere that his personal locker had been taken from him at Goodison, shunned out to the under 23's to train. But as you say expect him to roll up today at some League 2 Spanish side or the Turkish league, probably with a similar deal to what was on offer last night if not worse.

Quite relieved he didn't sign , he's awful. He would have been a panick buy sitting on the wage bill for years like mutch , Lee and sako.

According to the Times his "representatives" even tried to fleece Everton too. If he really did storm out of our offices then he should take a long look in the mirror, ask himself if he wants to play & possibly make the next World Cup. If yes then he needs to sack the muppets.

"Meanwhile Oumar Niasse’s proposed £7 million move from Everton to Crystal Palace collapsed after demands from his representatives for a six-figure agents’ fee were rejected. Niasse had travelled to Palace’s Beak Street office on deadline day and had a medical, but the transfer did not materialise.

Everton refused to pay his representatives earlier in the day and it is understood Palace officials became increasingly exasperated during negotiations. Niasse, the Senegal striker, eventually stormed out of Palace’s offices and returned to Everton — where he will continue to be frozen out by Ronald Koeman, the manager."

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

All good points but I'd wager 'stormed out' is sensationalism. He probably walked out a bit dissapointed.

I doubt the media were allowed so close to the office they could hear him shout 'Oh Bugger!' and then kick the door open and key Parish's car.

But yes he should have done more to make it happen.

Or he could have stormed out annoyed at the greed of his agent which had just cost him a transfer and a chance to resurrect a career.

I wouldn't be surprised if he were f***ing incandescent. Left in the lurch after the transfer deadline to go back to that nice Mr Koeman who doesn't even think he deserved his own locker?

I think he's at least a promising player who hasn't had much of a chance, playing for a s*** Hull team still managed to bag a few goals with limited service. I wouldn't read too much into his time at Everton because Koeman treated him like s***.

If it turns out that Everton engineered the collapse of this deal because they couldn't find another striker then they are arseholes. They might have said to us earlier in the day that they couldn't, or mightn't, go through with it. As it is we have been left in dead lumber. True, we should have addressed our vacancies eaarlier in the window, but still.

His agent is a relative so I'd guess that the script is worked out and agreed in advance. The frustration is probably due to no one actually falling for it.

Except Niasse is old enough to make his own decisions and is most likely well aware what his 'agent' is going to ask for. It's when you hear these sort of stories you do realise that Jordan had a point.
