Three games is too soon to be thinking of sacking the manager, but having said that there are several areas of concern that do not bode well for the future. De Boors inability to be flexible, lack of charisma and rush to judgment of his players, calling them cowards in public is a big deal and it may be an indication that he is willing to walk out if things don't improve. De Boor was a living legend as a player and expects the players to be up to the standards set by him. He now realises that half the team are championship standard at best. He just doesn't have to tools to succeed. Palace are a kick and rush counter attacking team but it is clear De Boor does not want to play that way. Parish has a clear choice bring in four or five high quality players (unlikely given the time frame and budget constraints) or sack the manager or wait until he walks.

and add to that FdB was recruited by SP and then given a couple of loan signings who wanted more PL game time to increase their experience and and unproven player who cost 8mil, hardly enough to change a system. What we need to learn first of all is how to stop teams scoring at least we will get a point even if we do not score ourselves. The defensive errors were there for all to see on Saturday when Ward was responsible for the two goals conceded either side of HT. SP has to be to blame for the number of Managers who have come and left orhave been fired over the last four and bit seasons and the dismal records of having only won less than a third of our home games over the same period. What SP did in the past with the other Directors is history, he reputation will be in tatters if we are relegated as he would have overseen the biggest loss in revenue in the clubs history! To be honest I agree that Parish and his merry band saved the club, that's great but it's history now. But surely the buck stops with him, He has been the one who made every single management decision. Frustratingly enough we are no further forward as a club on all fronts, than we were when promoted. Relegation possibilities every single season. If he was in most other Industries he would of been forced to stand down, He can't go on blaming the Managers as I have said before he is responsible, I wish he would stand down.

The formation doesn't work. But you're acting as if Parish has somehow pissed away everything that's good about this club, when FDB could simply switch to a back 4 after the break, just like he did in the 2nd half today? He should have started with four at the back but can't you blame him to much for hoping and trying his system against Swansea. It didn't work and he rightly changed it. Performance immediately improved and if Kelly's effort had gone in it'd been 1-1 with us playing the better football. He's no had his chances trying to implement his system and its so far failed. We now need points on the board and an Sakho injection to give confidence back. I personally don't want Frank sacked but he does need in the short term to play to our strengthens. If he doesn't I believe Parish will axe him and he'll never work in the Prem again. If he does suck it up and change for the short to medium term I can still see him being a success. Two great signings and one question mark signing. Maybe Reidiweld had a bad day at the office maybe he needs longer to adjust. Maybe he's not good enough, time will tell. Preseason he looked solid but yes this isn't preseason. He's been taken out the firing line which is a good thing and either an injury or the sign of good management. In franks defence the Liverpool game wasn't bad and he's changed the formation at half time each time we've looked piss poor. The boo boys... 0-0 and we're booing, best fans in the league? No chance. Shameful. We're to good to go down? No way not if we have such a lack of confidence. The manager needs to build the players up in a system they're comfortable in. He has changed it mid game and hopefully that's a small hope he can in the future. I want him to stay as holistically I think he'll be great for the club, kids, development and club progress. He needs to get the players and fans on side and get points on the board. He needs a few transfer windows with the club backing him. But in those circumstances he could be a success. Hopefully Swansea and Huddersfield have taught him just how slow the change needs to be. I hope he's up for the challenge and can adapt.

What a depressing state after just 3 games we find ourselves in.

I could not agree more with what you are saying, without any doubt he is to blame for the sorry situation that is the present, he proved with his judgement of AP and the dithering over his firing that he has lost the plot, any switched on CEO would have seen the writing on the wall when AP PL form just disintegrated in that period between Christmas and the Cup final when we only won two PL games. SP priority seems these days seems to more about redeveloping the ground and increasing capacity, which would be useless in the championship, rather than having a stable mid table PL team. He has also upset several quality managers who have either applied or been in the job and have left because of his lack vision in seeing that the team needs constant investment season on season if lessons are learned from the experience of the previous season. then clearly to go in to another campaign with virtually the same squad of players who nearly got relegated last season is bad business sense at the very least and incompetent at worst. SP needs to wake up or go as 26 wins from 78 home league

Our identity is us as fans. When our backs are to the wall we get behind the team, not against them. This is where we are sadly lacking this season.
