Interesting that there hasn't been any comment on Schlup. Thought he did pretty well considering how alone he was and how little support he has had.

Yep I'd agree with that also...

FDB seems to be getting them to work on different aspects...defensive shape in the first half..but already in the 2nd you can see Anderson and Benteke pressing and then dropping back deep, before then pressing and dropping into shape again.

Bit harsh on so many writing Keshi Anderson off already. The lad has played 45mins of football at premier league standard having played in league one for the last few years. Its going to take a bit of time to find his feet. He's also a 22 yr old kid playing in a foreign country with 30C heat and 80/90% humidity.

Can we maybe judge him once hes made 10 first team league appearances and not after 45mins in the first pre season game?

This club of mine constantly tests my loyalty but I as do many other fans never falter or crumble My loyalty to the Palace will never waver My unadulterated passion for a club I’ve grown up supporting wont die, and my desire to keep coming back and take the blows won’t succumb to negativity

He is one of those players. Appears hopeless... until he is out of the team. Provides that anchor or gel or solid base or whatever on which the rest of the team tnrive.

Truthfully I have no idea what he provides... but it seems to work. And successive coaching teams seem to agree.

That's a fair point

We're the Arthur over ere!

He also broke his leg. So I agree with you!

Would everyone prefer we still had Fraizer Campbell then?

Totally agree. Unfortunately, this is the internet, combined with modern football fans... no space given to reflection or nuance. Have you seen this place when we lose?! Some people go utterly mental and post immediately claiming we're totally doomed.

Yeah your right, unfair to judge him already. Done some good things I think

Good finish. They wouldn't get through that easily in a league game.
