FDB came to us as proper coach/manager, and now I'm thinking, is he starting to get p1ssed off like the others? Why, because he wears the mantle of being a very good manager, and now with only a few weeks to go to the start of the season, he still hasn't got his full team to manage! It was FdB himself that said he wanted a good look at all of our players before deciding where we need to strengthen and he can only be in that position now.

As a matter of interest who has suggested that's what we should be doing? There's a lot of comment about our lack of signings compared with those in our financial field or the newly promoted clubs. The fact that a majority fall into the categories I mentioned seems irrelevant to many. There have been a few astute signings but the rest would not enhance our team. If I wanted to make my car faster on a budget I'd never t buy lots of small/cheap parts but spend the money on those that would make the most difference.

Nice post, Nobbybm but you can put your house on us having signed about 40% of what we need 2 days before the season starts. I'm not bed wetting myself. I just know it will happen. You will see a gradual growth of serious concern and more supporters concerned we've signed 2 players before Huddersfield. Probably, but I'd rather get it right than throw money at anyone who will come. Reckon there'll be a few loans this season though - let's hope they're decent & we get options on em.

The comment that I had read most of all was that we were the only club in the Premier League not to have made any signings at all - nothing to do with those in our financial field or newly promoted clubs

Ignoring the big 6 & Everton's money tree, we can only compare ourselves to the rest. Now it's only Spurs who haven't signed anyone maybe, just maybe things will calm down & we might even start to see a few more deals coming through

If a youngster is good he is good, the average attitude in the PL is just unbelievable cowardly in not giving youth any chance at all. Milo was a Serbian full international whilst at Anderlecht and was 22 years old, hardly what you would call a youth. Your argument doesn't convince me, he was a proven international player, it just didn't work out for him in Holland.

Poor b****** is going to have a bunch of new players to iject into the team with insufficient time to prepare them with the team, then HE WILL GET BLAMED NO DOUBT FOR BEING A SH1T MANAGER! P1ssed off? I think so.
