Great first signing and the best player from Chelsea we could be expected to loan. Class signing will strengthen a weak position we probably can't afford to upgrade this window. Really really happy with this. Sorry if I'm gushing Dave! X

I recall having a discussion with a chap outside of HOL who used to be the 'General Manager' of what is now a league club.He proclaimed that Bamford was a good signing but I told him I had my reservations. I have a feeling I expressed reservations on HOL also about Remy due to his lack of games etc. And having seen Bamford play I noticed he lacked a physical presence and I had reservations of him making an impact in the PL.Think many thought along the lines "He has just been given a new contract by Chelsea so he must be OK".
