I have a lot to say about the shenanigans on social media but I will leave that to the political threads.

Let's get back to McArthur.

Sour grapes because your parties' control of the mainstream media ain't working any more. The Tories are history.

I think we'd be foolish to sell Jimmy Mac.

He has loads of energy and can still do a job.

He was definitely off pace in the last quarter of last season. Was terrible at the Etihad stadium. But I know he can get back to his best. Think he was playing through an injury.

Well should we sell him or should be keep him, because since the turn of the year. He wasn't the jimmy mac , we know.

Yes I agree his form in recent months is well below what he has produced.I have already said that he came on as substitute for Scotland v England and I don't recall him touching the ball.

Maybe some will remember the old McArthur and be disappointed if he was sold but others might take a different view.I am in the latter category.

Our squad is thin enough already, will probably be more expensive to replace him than keep him.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Players like mcarthur have done us a job for 2 years but personally if we can get better then should sell. Like when jedinak left. I was gutted but for 4m at 31. It makes sense, what if we used that money to buy Hughes for 8m. (Yes I know he's left to join Watford. It's an example)

Can't agree that it was a good move to lose Jedinak. We absolutely could have done with him during our awful run. It was short sighted and we nearly paid the price we had absolutely no steel in midfield and he wasn't adequately replaced until January. If that's your model for a good bit of business I say we keep him.

Hughes hasn't played PL football he is as much of a risk as anyone else who isn't a proven quantity. Teams would also be able to hold us to ransom if we sold McArthur because they would know we would be short in the middle and would have to pay up.

Jimmy like Scott Dann lost there first team spots for the Middlesbrough game.
They both then moved to the bench.
If Sakho does not sign Scott has a good chance to get back in.
Meanwhile Jimmy can cover for Cabaye and Luka, whilst endeavouring to get back in the first 11.
So I say keep him.
