5m Euros doesn't seem like it's a great deal to ask for SM given the price of the keepers (we might want/need) listed in this post and taking into account how highly rated he is/was in France. Or has his value depreciated because he's not played this year? Any idea how long his contract runs for? How much should he be sold for? Is a price of 5m Euros enough?

It reminds me of one of these big blokes who gets in your face and shouts at you about "respecting" him when what he really wants is deference and he's willing to kick up s*** to get it. He has it in him to be a decent keeper but his attitude is bollocks. Maybe he can get it back with another club but it lookes like he's burned his bridges here. And it also looks as if Marseille have stoked this so they should get reported for tapping up. And don't let them have Cabaye whatever you do.

Let's hope we stop paying his exorbitant wages whilst he's behaving like a petulant child. We may have got him for a nominal fee but that doesn't mean he we have to accept one in return. If Marseille wanot him they have to pay the market rate. Either way I want to see him gone.

3rd choice goalkeeper - injured for three-quarters of last season and unable to train, is refusing to train this season. Not sure how we will ever go. Steve - If you are reading this, if anyone in the squad needs to be training to maintain performance standards then that possible might be you. Grow a pair and get your chums at Marseille to stump up the market rate. What would Spain, Italy, Germany or indeed England's second choice keeper command as a transfer fee. Probably a tad more than £2m euro.
