It being suggested on twitter that the ultras hate Sam and would love pardew back. Why because he went down the pub after a win in 2015? Any truth in this or not?

Back to the original question. In my view crowd dissent only arrives if the performance of the team is poor. If Pardew had gone down the pub immediately after loosing 4-0 to the team at the bottom of the league I suggest he might have got a slightly different reception from the Ultras to the one that is being referred to.
Divisions only appear when performances show no hope or signs of success. The difference with Pardew's style and BFS's style is stark. We have never looked as though we might win playing under Allerdyce because he only wants to focus on a clean sheet , whereas under Pardew we did look ad though we could win. The fact is we never did but it felt as though we might.
Every supporter in a group . with friends. with family ,with mates or on their own are all entitled to their opinion because at the end of the day we are all Palace supporters.
I am not a BFS supporter but if he does the business and can persuade the players to perform his way and it brings success then I will applaud him because supporting the Palace is what every type of supporter does.

In the 10/12 years that the HF have been in existance this is the first time they have reacted in the totally wrong way they did last Saturday, over the years there are a lot more pluses than minuses attributed to them.
Hope the HF continue to create an atmosphere at Selhurst if they don't the place will be like a library, thats The E mirates for those of you that don't travel. Also hope that they don't repeat last Saturdays aggro.
I must say it is the usual anti HF posters having a field day, pity sometimes you should give credit when they do something good not just whinge when it gets up your personal nose.

No, they must absolutely hate Sam, that's why they and a few others were the only Palace fans who actually sang anything at the Sunderland game, except the odd "we're the Holmesdale" etc. or "you're not fit to wear the shirt."

I haven't liked a couple of the banners (bit cringe, but I liked the tram one, the stabbings one etc.), and I do think at times they come across as quite arrogant - I wish they were more inclusive. Also, coin throwing is not okay, but that happens at every club (unfortunately). Overall, though, they have been a positive to our club.

The HF have long changed and morphed into something more... understandably.

Back in the day they were a mixed group of passionate supporters that loved the club and bled red and blue - the area has now been over run with people that would rather be a member, without doing the initiation i.e support palace for a couple of years and know what they're talking about, admittedly, a lot of young ones make up the majority.

The idea of the hf is still there, you can still here it.

I didn't appreciate the anti SA banner about corruption not welcome, lol, the s*** pardew got up to!

Exactly super al head butted a player(meyler) but everyone seems to forget this.

It is high time the petty nastiness was put aside. Pardew has gone (6 months too late in my opinion)now well all need to get behind the players especially at home. The club is bigger than any one person together we can survive.

This thread...

Ok, the HF started off as core fans, we all know this, they worked hard with support, being vocal and flags/banners etc.

Now, it seems, anyone can sit near them, join in a song and call themselves HF. This is my point, it's opened up a can of worms - kids see and hear the respect they get and want a bit, without doing the hard graft.

The people going ape s*** crazy at half time, were they outside lloyds? Were they there to see Hopkin curl one?

The HF need to go under ground, stick with the founding members and any new deserving members.

stick to songs and displays, that's it.

no politics, no hidden agenda's, no influencing or trying to of the club - just back to basics support palace.

That way, the tools that show themselves up - it's just bad fans, not bad HF.

Cos at the end of the day - you buy a ticket, you take your seat, you're just the same as everyone else once the game starts.

Bicycle repair man you are pathetic. You come on here all high and mighty. State that every one is entitled to a point of view then slag them off when their view is different to yours. How old are you? I said it earlier on in the week and I'll say it again. You are a knob. If the hi support the team in a different way to you that does not make them wrong and you right. Grow up!

I am superior to you because i don't resort to calling people silly names to prove a point.
my different way of supporting my club means I don't abuse or make obscene gestures at the players when things go wrong.
I support them what ever, not just when they are winning.

And there it is. Enjoy that yellow. Why do you people not just engage is an adult debate. Resorting to name calling to make a point well played

Maybe that's the secret? We didn't concede in the second half, and SA has said the players are scared at home. Maybe if we all just shut up, they won't be so scared?

Let';s face it, this 'famous atmosphere' of ours has produced terrible results.
