Well done 30/31 season, still can't take away from either but of course CB still has a long way to beat Ian who was probably the best striker we ever had in the modern era. Of course you can't blame and I do not blame CB for our current plight that's is down to AP but I still do not think he is worth 32mil but i would love him to prove me wrong if he stays that long!

Why would we want to sell him? I am interested in who we would replace him with.

He is paid to score which he will do on a regular basis

I'm becoming increasingly disillusioned with Palace at the moment. Selling Benteke is the equivalent of asking to be relegated. No matter what people say about his movement, or effort he scores goals. 8 so far speaks for itself and in this league an out and out goalscorer is invaluable.

At the age of 25, he's unlikely to have reached his peak ability, so any move to sell would be ludicrous when we could get far more in a couple of years provided there aren't any contract issues.

With Benteke and Remy upfront there is a 0% chance we'll go down.

He's a bit sh1t for £28mill if we are being honest but he is the best we have at the moment.

If we can get someone just as average as him and for half the price then yes of course sell for £30million.

According to SSN he is open to a move away but not China. I think if we sold him we would pay the extra to get Defoe.and bring in Fonte Schlupp and possibly Livermore

The more I think about this the stupider it sounds. I am prepared to listen to nonsense, but it must not be pure looney babble from the padded cell. Obviously by the time we had found a buyer all the possible purchases would be with other clubs and anyone left could hold us to ransom. We'd be goosed.
