There are some seriously inflated expectations at this club now. Why not go back to being in the Championship with Alan Lee as our out and out goal threat, back then Allardyce would have been hailed as our Alex Ferguson. 6 years is clearly a long time. A few positive results and the England stitch up will be forgotten, and right too. What a load of b******* over nothing. The whole of sport is awash with cash and its corrupt from the top down, right Mr. Blatter? All of our previous managers have probably had a brown paper bag or two in their careers anyway. Especially the likes of Holloway, Pulis and Colin. So lets just embrace it and associate ourselves with the most corrupt yeah?

Anyone take notice of him? Anyone care then and now? The games is full of cheats and liars, on and off the pitch. You just have to protect yourself from financial and contract damage from a sh1tty industry.

Been travelling all day, just heard about it, pretty sure we'll stay up. But really, really disappointed. One of my saddest moments as a Palace fan.

Managers of dubious character, owners equally so (until recently), no history of success and a small fanbase within huge demographic potential.
It's good to keep an opened mind, but not so open that your brains fall out. |

Well thats a pretty depressing stance to take, but I see your point and agree with you to some degree.

Owners sponsoring themselves like Manchester City is corruption. Chelsea buying titles with Russian blood money is corruption. The whole of football is corrupt and it starts with FIFA. Its whats on the pitch that matters. Allardyce is hardly going to tarnish this deeply criminogenic sport, is he. Originally posted by Kermit8
Man City could always be relied upon to be sh1ttier than us in appointing managers until recent years but now even they have let us down. We have had 30 managers in 23 years. We are a joke of a football club in that department. Parish hasn't helped. Yeah Parish, what a t***. Keeping us in existence, getting us promoted and to another FA cup final. What a useless chancer. Beggars belief on here sometimes.

I ask you to back up your 'he is good at managerial appointments is Parish' too. He has sacked three of them so far and two have walked out on him. In five years. Go for it. Oh come on, lets not be naive, Sam made an error of judgement and was entrapped by slime ball reporter, not saying he was not a bit simple by being sucked in to the con but lets be honest how many others would not have been tempted. To be fair he has been proven to be quality Manager at keeping clubs in PL when they in deep trouble, lets be grateful SP has sorted this out before the transfer window is open and what a great Christmas gift, by golly we needed it. Its now time to stop all this negative comment and get behind our team and its manager! Second this!! I was very happy seeing Big Sam holding up the magical shirt in the news this morning. Happy 2017 and times ahead!!!
