Gambling 1 point for 3 in a game weren't expecting much from is worth taking? You are Alan aren't you? Who have we got next? How many points have we won lately? That's his problem. Always going to win cos he knows it's doubtful he'll get fack all elsewhere. Get the t1t out asap. Not worth debating with you. I probably agree. But are you not a big fan of Perdu and didn't all this happen when he had the watch?

Well...I don't agree all our problems now stem from that period. But I do agree we could have done Murray and Gayle situations better Edited by Ginger Pubic Wig (15 Dec 2016 8.51pm)

Whatever the ins and outs of our current situation and the self inflicted manner of our defeats, I think we have had some incredibly bad luck with match officials ,long term injuries etc.

This leaves no room for useful debate and no room for balanced discussion. We were clearly unlucky yesterday. The team clearly are fighting for Pardew. The disputed goal on the stroke of half-time with our bad run would have put the heads down of most teams but our team continue to fight. The subsitution had no impact on their second goal, Jimmy Mac wouldn't have been involved I don't think. At the time ManU were attacking with 8-9 players, could be Pardew was thinking by playing a hard running Campbell we could maybe reduce the tide. However, I probably agree that Pardew's time is up but sacking him will be a high risk strategy and will only be made when it is 100% clear that we are not going to get out of this slump. I thing Pardew's tactics are questionable and have cost us a number of points this year. I also think the coaching of the team has gone downhill and hold Pardew responsible for this. In hindsight the board should have replaced Pardew in the Summer in the light of our terrible form in the second half of last year. Well said. The inability of some people to see beyond what appears to be irrational hatred is stopping any discussion following (the last two) games

This leaves no room for useful debate and no room for balanced discussion. Ok fair point, everybody is entitled to an opinion, so here's mine 6 wins in 41 games. We were clearly unlucky yesterday. Man United had just as many if not more decisions go against them. Clear Handball, offside goal that wasn't Cabaye and it's arguable Lee should have walked for basically a studs up high tackle on big nose. The team clearly are fighting for Pardew. The disputed goal on the stroke of half-time with our bad run would have put the heads down of most teams but our team continue to fight. They are footballers paid very large sums of money to fight and play regardless of the score, that is the very minimum we should expect as the paying fans of our club. To be thankful for the players doing their jobs ?? Nope sorry thats the bare minimum they should be doing. And I think they are fighting for the club and fans not AP.
However, I probably agree that Pardew's time is up but sacking him will be a high risk strategy and will only be made when it is 100% clear that we are not going to get out of this slump. Slump !!?? 6 wins in 41 games is not a "Slump" it's the worst wins to games ratio in any professional league in Europe. He should have gone after the loss to Swansea. I don't know what more reasoned argument, backed up with stats I can give you, to show with him here we go down. I thing Pardew's tactics are questionable and have cost us a number of points this year. I also think the coaching of the team has gone downhill and hold Pardew responsible for this. Somewhat of a u turn from the start of your post, but this I agree with. Edited by dannyh (16 Dec 2016 9.10am)

Then, the ref (who was terrible) should have both ruled out their opener and sent off their man for the bad challenge. This changes the entire game. We scored a great goal, generally looked solid and deserved the 1-1 based on the above. I will acknowledge that a)we should have cut out zlatan for the winner (who along with the overated pogba was bang average) and b)the MCcarthur sub (best player on the pitch by some way imo) made no sense But, will the haters acknowledge any merits or positive moves on Pardews part? What about the Man U goal that was ruled out for offside but it was actually onside?
