I think we are all probably wasting our time discussing this because.... I don't think Parrish is even contemplating getting rid of Pardew right now and AP is not about to resign as he thinks he is doing a good job and events are conspiring against him. I'm not even sure that Pardew is being grilled by Parrish in the boardroom (Alan Sugar apprentice style) for his poor performances. The Swansea debacle should have resulted in the sack especially as his 2016 league record was so poor. Last week's improved defensive display was quickly abandoned yesterday as Pardew was itching to go on the attack introducing Cabaye, Fryers and Campbell who are not renowned for their defensive capabilities and dispensed with MacArthur who does the work of two men defensively and is one of our better performing players. I wanted/want Pardew to do well for us because of his history with the club but having given him the benefit of the doubt for nearly 2 years I am now convinced that he is too gung-ho and doesn't learn lessons from embarrassing defeats, but sticks to his guns of all out attack at all times. I am convinced that Pardew will be here till the end of the season, so buckle up and get your tin hat on. With the squad we've got, it should be a breeze to stay up, but I fear for our future under Pardew's management. Spot on.
