I think he also had an emergency meeting with Pardew (according to one of the threads), in which case maybe this evening he is consulting with our american partners?

All very dramatic. They talk on a regular basis.

Hopefully the TP £3.7 m can be used to speed Partridge Pardew on his way to some other poor unsuspecting club.

Since the win at Stoke last December,we have been in freefall with a mere 5 wins in something like 33 games.
The team is all over the place now and giving Pardew 2 more games to 'prove' himself is simply postponing the inevitable,as I have serious doubt that we will get any points from Southampton or away at Hull, losing more valuable time in bringing in a strong manager to arrest this calamitous decline.
I know Parish is big buddies with Pardew and perhaps this factor is clouding his usual astute business brain.
There is no sentiment in business and we need change now as a matter of urgency in a results driven business.

Yes just saw it on the www, apparently, it the Americans and SP who want to give him more time, can't believe it, he hasalready had more time since last Christmas and we have gone backwards, what more do they need to see and understand that AP is just not up to the job!

Looks like it. Personally I think a manager with a more defensive mind set would be a better option. Problem is we have already tried Pulis, with pretty acrimonious results, which leaves Allardice, who carries too much baggage with him. Same goes for Freedman. Hodson and Coleman dont convince either. So maybe a chastened and more defensively minded Pardew might just be a better option, if he can win the next two matches?

I said it yesterday parish does it every single time. Dithers, gives people far too long then inevitably brings in someone decrepit / rubbish / or on the cheap and tries to scrape by. What's with all the pissing about. Prick

With respect, Mr Parish is not deserving of such insults.

..did you not notice the look on Danns face after that interview following that terribly exciting game, he looked a tad distraught and I'd imagine all the other players are just the same, all we need is a little tweak at the back then Southampton won't know what's hit them.

After the weekend, I want Pardew gone, Swansea was a shambles.

But.

Why sack him now with no obvious replacement? The general consensus seems to be that Millen has to go too. So not even a caretaker available (though my rates are very reasonable)

Give him two games, in the meantime do what is needed and should AP not deliver, we can have a new manager by the time Manure visit.

No point in rushing this.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

..you cannot speak as for everyone, not everyone has your personal opinions, this team is very very near to being something exceptional, injuries and bad luck in particular positions and moments have caused these results, they will change and the people in charge can also see this.
