That and the not valuing clean sheets and being good entertainment tells us all we need to hear.

This is not the theatre or a circus. If you can't deliver in a results business you have to go, with a golden handshake of millions in cases like this.

Giving him a new contract is looking more foolish each week. Will presumably cost us millions to get rid of him.

I can assure you that it does neither, it just makes you seem ridiculous, but please do carry on if you want to, it's up to you if you wish to appear vacuous. You'll be talking to yourself though, because I'm already bored and won't be listening.

Can we please not mention defences.

You could also be talking to Steve Parish there with your post assuming Pards isn't sacked by Monday night.

If he is given two more games and he wins them both, not impossible, then everything about turns again.

Trouble is attracting players when a manager has 1 year left. IS that correct? 1 year left?

And AP can attract players, he just can't organise them defensively and protect and value points at all.

Now the pundits have gotten hold of this in the last 8 days he's either going this weekend or by end of next weekend at the latest.

Not if he wins against Southampton he isn't.

Couldn't get Wilshere.

1. He's got to do that first which is unlikely.
2. The phrase 'papering over the cracks' springs to mind.

Our money offer to Arsenal vs Bournemouth's couldn't get Wilshere. Don't believe all the cr&p from JW's mouth about wanting to get away from London. He has a kid or 2 I believe and wanted to commute everyday from Barnet (or Brookmans Park where they usually live) to Beckenham.

I don't think Pards will be able to attract players any more and one of his biggest mistakes was announcing that Cabaye got £80k a week because he was so much better than the others.

He's a fVcking cretin and the aggressive defence of him on this board is a joke.

I can't believe what I'm reading here. The stalwarts of the Holmesdale calling for regicide!

Look guys, this is a monarch who took us to a cup final and always plays front foot attacking football. Don't tell me we're going to allow ourselves to sink to the depths of those deluded Geordies who demand more than four wins in a calendar year.

Let's get behind Al and his lush brand of football!

If he's still here next week I would think he'll be a dead man walking and the Board will already have the process of replacing him underway.

I'm struggling to think what sort of performance would make me want to keep him. Several matches in which we looked solid at the back and not likely to give away ludicrous goals might. But then he doesn't have several matches.

And if he were King I'd want to live in a republic.

If Pardew had any backbone, he'd walk now. But he's too stubborn to admit even that. Enough is enough.

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"
