Magical moment that one with the lads in the dressing room after the Brighton semi.

That's the answer then. Sack him so he can go on the next series of Strictly.

That's a very good point you make. He doesn't seem to do much if that during games. Is pretty stand offish compared to other manager. And is a lone figure in the technical area, not communicating with his coaching team either.

I'm sorry BG but that's simply not true. He is talking to players and shouting instructions through most of the game. While Millen may not be stood next to him throughout a match he does speak to him regularly. Admittedly I wouldn't like to say whether it's more or less than other managers but they do talk.

I simply don't think he can take us to the next level, unless he thinks the championship is the next level!! I like Pardew but am sick of the excuses now, and the way he often "bigs" up the opposition instead of addressing our frailties, I am now very close to asking for an application form to join the "Pardew out" club, after all the statistics don't lie at the end of the day.

Entertainment before clean sheets? Has a PL manager going for the England job really said those words? I rather see us win a couple of hard-fought "ugly" 1-0 victories than losing six "great games" on the trot. The owners can not take a back seat much longer - they too must see we're on a suicide mission with AP at the helmet!

I think the board should give SP until after the 3rd January game. And tell him that too.

And draw up a clear list of LB/DM/ACM for signing in January come what may.

It may sound a cliche - but we ARE transitioning, from a c 30% possession side to a 50%+ one. And not too far away from playing some decent football, the like of which we haven't seen at Palace for a long time.

Forget last season's disastrous run - what's done is done, and the players are different anyway.

I think that we we fall short is with tempo and fitness (the latter in particular). And with the lack of DM protection for the defence. Should perhaps have got Flamini properly fit by now.

AP is not a fool. And there is a dearth of options i.m.o. Let's pull together, all of us, and show some cojones.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

Steve Parish is rumoured to have had a quiet word with Dougie Freedman in the car park telling him that he needs to change the style of play.

Isn't it time that he took Pardew into the car park for a chat?

If by 'a chat' you mean a kick-up-the-arse, then yes.

The saving grace in all this is that Parish is first and foremost a businessman and won't put the owners investments at risk. My guess is that Pardew is treading a very thin line and those comments to the media have no doubt already resulted in him having his fortune told in no uncertain terms.

Hopefully AP, having seen the light, we will witness a Freedman-style conversion against Man City.

In the corporate business world, if a manager was 'underperforming' , they'd be taken to one side and a structured plan of how they were to get out of the mess would be constructed and followed to the letter, much as you've said above, with firm dates for what was going to be checked and when.

Mr Pardew, come in to my office and lets sit down and have a chat......

Oh, fvck it. I miss playing Brighton and Charlton and Millwall. Let's get rid of him and - well as we are Palace - appoint an aged, decrepid 'character' who will gee up the players with his northern enthusiasm or a Carlos Coachalot who wears nice scarves and is a bit urbane.
