If Bolasie goes to Everton and all of a sudden becomes consistent and improves his end product, what will our supporters think ?

Or do we believe that this is just not possible and Bolasie will forever fluctuate between 'Premier League' and 'Sunday League' in a matter of minutes?

The second one premier league and Sunday league.
If anyone is offering £20m+ for Bolasie we should rip their arm off and invest in Benteke immediately !!

Well, now it's a done deal, I just hope you can all have a laugh at my expense by Christmas. Townsend is one dimensional and hugely one footed and has been sussed at premier league level - that's why Spurs didn't play him guys!. Yala can be unplayable and highly unpredictable - that's what makes him dangerous and why most defences double up on him which creates space for others. We just haven't had anyone to take advantage of that. At the moment, my glass is half empty.

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Bolasie for Benteke makes sense in my head but Yala has been one of my favourite players in the last 20 years, watching him on his day is the reason you go to football matches. He has his own skill moves named after him.

I feel like a lot of people saying its quality business will realise how much he means to us once he is doing the impossible for another team.

He will always be a hero in my eyes and there is no doubt that over the last two seasons he has added a goal threat to his game.

£25 Million seems a fair trade off especially if we get a striker in with the £ but I wish he didn't have to go.

Good luck and all the best Yala!

I'm sorry but if Townsend is that bad he's got how many England caps because? And at the time Spurs preferred technical over pace that's why Erikson and sigurdson used to play on the wings when Townsend was there. But back to the point a possible 30mil !! For bolasie!!!!! We'd be mad not to I just hope this is reinvested in benteke and one or two more. Shame to see him leave as he's exciting but 15-20 goals from benteke is far more valuable in this league.

This will be the mistake that sees us relegated.

Our team is average as f*** without Bolasie and Zaha.

Hahaha. Mate he's not even in the top 20.

Surely we need to strengthen the wide positions if YB leaves. Robbie Brady would be a good shout as he can play left back and left wing.

You can't possibly know that.
I reckon he's plenty good enough. Just needs a shot.

A fine player who weakens our defence far to much to start.

The lack of ambition at this club should not surprise anymore. It has been the the recurring theme.
Selling one of our best players when we nearly went down last season is just gob smacking.
Bolsie is 27 and at his peak as a player, his strength and pace scares defenders and has been a big part of our survival in this league so far.

So the American investment was all about the Ground then?

And we might get benteke full Belgium international that could score 15+ easy. I love bolasie but given a choice of goals that win games and keep us up over a few assists and goals for roughly the same money why not ? Plus this could let Kai Kai closer to the team and who knows he may be more affective in the end. This deal is pretty much done we've got to suck it up see what happens and keep positive!
