Dont understand why some are still banging on about Murray. He was great in our championship side - not so great after his injury in the Prem. It was a mistake to get rid before a replacement was secured and SP acknowledges that.
I doubt SP will make the same mistakes again.

As for the Management of our club - people have short memories! We have NEVER been in better shape on and off the pitch.
We will have the right to get on their back IF we dont make some signings before the deadline (which is NOT before WBA at home) have a little faith people!

Well said Elphers. It was a great achievement to sign Cabaye last season, and Pards has this off season it would seem aimed high in terms of getting in better strikers than we have had before. This means more competition from other 'bigger' clubs, higher salaries, keeping our current squad happy re salaries, etc. A huge challenge which Parish which I am convinced will meet. Meanwhile, we punters and posters have to cross our fingers and hope....

I believe all our squad needs for a top ten finish next year are 3 Players :

Back up / Starting line up No 9 Target man , and i would promote one of the youngsters as the 3rd Forward probably Kai Kai. We can always use Townsend / Bolasie / Sako as back up.

A no 10 play maker in the mould of Sissoko , although i think it is time we gave Jonny Williams a run in the team.

A versatile defender that can play any position in the back 4.

I would sell Campbell , Mutch , Fryers & Lee and if any positions left in the Squad fill with the youngsters.

We haven't sold any of our quality players and if we sign the 3 players before the dead line will cement our stay in the Premiership.

I agree about that one, but waiting and waiting really get`s to my nerves, just want us to have a deasent striker in before it kicks off!

Murray had clearly made a statement the previous season that he wasn't happy being on the bench which led to him going on loan to Reading. Unsurprisingly, when we brought in Wickham, its was pretty clear that he would be first choice, and I don't expect Murray was keen on being on the bench either.

I wouldn't want any player at Palace that was happy sitting on the bench. He also went on to say that he didn't want to leave and Parish did say that it was a mistake letting him go. For old times sake here is a link to Murrays purple patch.

But would you buy them. I think that's the problem, no one actually wants to buy them.
