Guy's Muray does not want to sit on the bench in order for him not to do that at Palace he needs to score goals which sadly for him he has not been able to do at this level it is time to move on get 2 million and spend it somewhere else

If we can get in someone that we deem to be worthy of starting up top for us, then as much as I would hate to see him go, £2m for Murray is a pretty fair offer. Would leave us with Gestede, Sanogo, Chamakh, Gayle, Campbell for the rest of the season, with Wilf, Bolasie and Punch behind. That really should be enough to get a job done. Then in the summer you're looking at replacing Sanogo when he goes back and probably moving on Campbell if the market is right. Happy days. Edited by ambrose7 (19 Jan 2015 11.43am)

It is harsh but unfortuately the injury came at the worst possible time if we were sitting on 32 points at the moment then you can afford to take the chance but we are not. Unfortuately the hardest decisions to make are normally the right ones

Both BBC [Link] and Sky Sports [Link] are saying Palace have made a bid. There's also rumors that if Gestede comes Murray will go to Reading for 2 million. I would be sad to see him go but goals he was bagging before the injury are either being saved or hitting woodwork. Reading gives him the best chance to succeed and he deserves that, not being considered not good enough for the Premier.

Think this guy can do a job but also think Murray could have done too. Jesus the guy has hardly had a run yet he is still getting into scoring positions but the difference between a good bit of goalkeeping and hitting the post is marginal. If they both went in well what would people be saying. His little nudge on the defender allowed the ball to drop to Gayle who converted. I rather get rid of Cambell who I think is no better than Murray but guess nobody wants to pay 2 mill for him.

As much as I appreciate Murray's goals in the season we came up, I really don't thin k he is going to be able to re-create that form in the Premier League. Yes he still gets in good positions but he lacks the yard of pace since his injury, that he ever really had before it and is not getting any younger. The save Lloris made wasn't a worldy save, it was a poor miss by a Premier league strikers standards and i have to say that if Gayle was behind the ball, the net would have bulged. The post hit against Burnley was unlucky, great technique but against Burnley who are effectivly top Championship defensively, much like us last season except they play far more attacking football than we did. It is time for us to look at similar players to Murray but with a bit more pace and age on their side. If Murray goes, I'll wish him well and thank him for all he did for us but, much like Ambrose, I think we got his best season out of him and he'll slowly drop down the football league now...
