Anyone remember that utter knob who makes videos of himself saying how much he loves Chelsea and Brighton?

Here's his mum.

By my recollection, the "rivalry" with Brighton isn't of the common or garden football variety. It's not born out of proximity, nor out of decades of heated competition. It's purely the result of a series of random fixtures coughed up by the league's computer, and Brighton fans acting like total asshats at those fixtures.

I do not enjoy this "rivalry", I simply hate the fans. It's always seemed to me that they have latched onto us, because no one else gives a crap about them, and have managed to drag us into their stupid game. (See also Charlton).

If Brighton winked out of existence tomorrow, I believe that we will have forgotten about them by the end of the week (yes, I know tomorrow's Friday). If we had actually winked out of existence, as we so nearly did, I think they would still be hating Palace for years / decades to come because Brighton still would have no one who cared about them enough to fill the void in their black hearts.

So, no. I don't want them in or anywhere near the Premier League.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

First leg of the semi-finals tonight. I can't be the only one who is quietly hoping for a home win.

Not me; I don't want them to have a single moment of joy. Plus, as has already been said, they have quite a bit of cash for a Championship club and I don't want them to get another £60m+ to splash about. I prefer they went into freefall and droped out of the league altogether with ultimate financial ruin.

I'd settle for them hovering over the anus of League 2 in perpetuity.

THIS!

No way do I want to see them in the PL let them fail and flounder for all time.

I have managed to get a few of my colleagues to change wallpaper to show their support for the Rams. I thought I should given that one of the senior members of staff in another department spends a lot of time hovering around our desks is a weed fan

Indeed he does. Apparently he's getting famous and making lots of money from his sh1tty videos now which just makes me want to run him over with a steamroller even more.

I reckon there are a few Palace fans who secretly want this to happen - after all, it would make the league more interesting to have a big rival to play against.

Yes I'd have them up for one season. Make a change to going up t' north for most away games

its a town full of losers, i,m pulling outta here to win

I'm really not sure how I feel about this. I love the derbies and if they don't go up then I'll really miss the occasion and away day. But part of what makes the games so tasty is that sometimes you go a couple of years without playing each other and then WHAM all the passion comes back when you're in the same league again.

Derbies?

Our derbies nowadays are Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and West Ham.

Not Seaweed, Clowntown or Bermondsey Hooligans.
